| Performance comparison |
Companies that make budget tyres tend to make a product to a price point or make something that is cheap for them to make. Whereas your more premium manufacturers, such as Pirelli, always strive to make the best possible product using the best technology. This is why they are more expensive.
Although it may seem like you are saving money with a budget tyre, a more premium tyre is going to last 3 possibly 4 times as long. |

|
| Safety comparison |
| Premium tyres offer increased levels of grip which make them the ideal solution in scenarios such as rain or loose gravel, essentially anywhere were there's low levels of grip. When you need that grip, we suspect you would happily pay that extra money to ensure your car stops safely and without crashing. |

|
| Technology comparison |
| Premium tyre manufacturers will use the latest technology and research to develop their tyres. Manufacturers such as Michelin, Pirelli and Bridgestone use computer modelling, fluid dynamics and simulation tools that budget manufacturers don't necessarily use or even have. |
